Karen Hryciuk has been creating jewelry for more than ten years. What started as a hobby has grown into a successful jewelry design business. Karen began designing jewelry during her recouperation from major surgery. She created small bracelets to give as thanks to friends who helped during her recovery. Word spread quickly about these little gemstone gifts and people began to call and urge Karen to design a larger collection of jewelry. Karen took the plunge, creating a whimsical, colorful, first collection which was shown in her Grosse Pointe Michigan home - and completely sold out! A buzz began to build about her collection of semi-precious jewelry and soon metro Detroit retailers were calling to carry the new line. Now ten years later, Karen Hryciuk Custom Jewelry is carried in boutiques around the country and has a strong and loyal customer base.
